Introducing Rath Mome!

Rath is bound into servitude by magical fibers woven into the laces covering his body. He cannot remember a time before he was an angel. His days are mostly spent roaming the city of Radon on patrol missions, hanging limply from his halo and watching life go on below.

Eventually, he is cut from his restraints by his god and sent crashing down to earth, where he meets Delta. He enlists her help to find a way back up to heaven, the only home he's ever known. In return, he assures her that his god would reward her with the removal of the mysterious psychic powers that have tormented her for years. They come to form a supportive sibling relationship.

Note that as an angel, he never changes clothes; but as a fallen angel, he has had the entire contraption removed and borrows Delta's clothes. She mostly owns dark grey or black comfy activewear/athleisure, and he doesn't mind wearing her more "gendered" clothing items such as skirts or crop tops.

Trivia

• He's named after the mome raths from Alice in Wonderland. It's very unserious, but purely based on how it sounds, I think it suits him...
• In my first text from back in the day, he was a fallen-angel-turned-body-snatcher/murderer. In my current canon I've rolled back the clock on him, so I don't quite know where he'll be a couple years after his fall yet. Eventually Delta's going to want him to get a job, so who knows.
